AI Editor

A flexible, tab-based product editing interface. Unlike the guided AI Activator workflows, you can jump between sections in any order and edit only what you need.

Interface

The editor has a sidebar with tabs on the left and a live product preview on the right. Click any tab to edit that section. Unsaved changes are tracked — a save button appears when you have pending changes.

Tabs

Images

Upload, reorder, and manage product images.

• Drag and drop to reorder images.
• Upload new images from your device.
• Fetch Images & Descriptions — Triggers WebSIM to pull images and descriptions from the supplier website.
• Fetch Images Only — Triggers WebSIM for images without overwriting descriptions.

Names

Edit the product name and SEO page title (if enabled in settings).

• Format with AI — Automatically formats the product name following Cloud MT naming conventions.
• The original name is preserved for reference.

Descriptions

Edit short description, long description, and additional description.

• AI can generate descriptions from the supplier page data.
• Use Format Text in the long description editor to apply standardised formatting.

Facets

Set the product’s find-and-filter options:

• Department (with sub-filters 1–3)
• Item Group (with sub-filters 1–3)
• Primary Category
• Google Category
• Gender, Age, Colour
• Activity, Material
• Collections
• Find & Filter Priority

Tech Spec

Edit the two-column technical specifications table.

• Add or remove rows.
• Overwrite with New Tech Spec — Paste raw text and it’s automatically structured into the table format.

Size Guide

Edit sizing information in a formatted table.

Colour Group

Detect and configure colour group variants.

• AI searches your Cloud MT database for products that are likely colour variants.
• Add or remove products from the group.
• Assign the correct Cloud MT colour to each variant.
• View existing colour groups if the product is already in one.

Other Info

Additional product settings:

• Video URL
• Buyer’s Guide URL
• Stock tracking options
• Click and collect only
• Pre-launch settings (date and toggle)

Saving

Click Save to write all changes to Cloud MT. You can also activate or deactivate the product directly from the editor.

When to Use the AI Editor

• Updating a few specific fields on existing products (e.g. just descriptions or facets).
• Editing products that don’t need the full activation workflow.
• When you prefer a non-linear, flexible editing experience.
